She's like the rain (and it's just going on) falling softly on his face (and it's just going on)/and when she whispers his name (they don't wanna go home) she makes sense of the pain//

There's a young man/he just left this town with no money to spare/he says that this place crushes his dreams/they're better followed elsewhere/he's always quick with facts and figures/but his feelings are numb/and when he's faced with things he can't process/you know he's just gonna run//
